Retail Sales Lead/Assistant Manager/Sales Staff

oh baby! is looking for full time and part time sales associates and management candidates to join our team.

oh baby! is Minnesota's premier upscale retailer of children's fashion (newborn through size 6) and home furnishings. We have opportunities at our flagship boutique at 50th and France in Edina, at our store on Lake Street in Wayzata, and at our newest shop at the Mall of America. Our stores feature our oh baby! brand apparel and accessories, which are designed right here in Minneapolis, and distributed to select retailers around the world. Our local stores are the exclusive distributors of the brand in Minnesota. Our stores also curate a sublime selection of the best products available for infants and children, from other great designers. Customers look to our staff for expertise and guidance for some of their most important buying decisions for nurseries, children's clothing and gifts.

Customer centered retail sales or equivalent experience is preferred, but we will consider anyone with a vibrant, outgoing personality and a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service. Strong computer skills, experience with children's clothing, and knowledge of textiles, furnishings and design are helpful assets.

Digital Marketing Assistant

Our Minneapolis based children's fashion brand has established a successful social media marketing strategy to promote our multi-layered distribution efforts. We are looking for someone with significant social media experience, plus a firm foundation in general digital marketing strategies, to assist in the continued planning, execution and optimization of our social media and email marketing efforts. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the ongoing development of our eCommerce platform, to promote our brick and mortar boutiques, and to continue to build our wholesale distribution business. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in the Instagram and Facebook platforms as well as basic SEO/SEM concepts. This position could lead to quick promotion to more responsibility as digital marketing manager.


  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers, as well as with our wholesale accounts
  • Create content for web and social media platforms, including product shots, flat lays, store photos, mini videos, etc.
  • Launch optimized online ads through Google Adwords and other platforms to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Prepare promotional messages for distribution through emails and various social channels
  • Apply your critical eye to our websites; collaborate with designer and web manager to enhance merchandising and improve user experience
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Continue to build, organize and maintain image library
  • Support store operations through display and storefront merchandising
  • Support on-line sales and fulfillment center as needed


  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C and B2B social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field
